HERNE BAY PETANQUE CLUB, AUCKLAND CITY, NEW ZEALAND TO HOST THE 2008 WINE DOUBLES PETANQUE
 
TOURNAMENT IN AID OF THE AUCKLAND DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION (ADSA) AND THE NEW ZEALAND DOWN
 
SYNDROME ASSOCIATION (NZDSA)
 
Hertfordshire, UK based Dave Ciano today announced that the prestigious fund-raising petanque tournament would this year be hosted by the Herne Bay Petanque Club in Auckland City on Sunday 16th November 2008.
 
All money raised from entrance fees and from the raffle would be presented to the two charities on the day and Mr. Ciano confirmed that there would be no expenses or deductions. All competition prizes and raffle prizes would be donated by individuals & companies in New Zealand and in the UK.
 
Further details of the competition will appear on the various petanque websites and on the ADSA website later in the year.
